Miniature Ecosystems are Fun!

This is one of my favorite hobbies and I think it would be pretty awesome to design a game on the subject.

You could have a list of various components to choose from such as landmark features, plants, temperature, humidity, light, air-flow.... well, you get the point. Someone could choose a setup and then see how it does over time.

A game like this would be an excellent tool to teach kids and adults about ecosystems.

The same idea could apply to fish tanks. Along with the standard environmental factors you could teach how corals fight for space by stinging their neighbors.

Chemistry is a major component of the reef keeping hobby and that alone could be an entire game.

So, be it about fish tanks or vivariums I think a game on miniature ecosystems would be great fun and educational as well.

Helping Kids

I remember when I was younger playing a video game that was geared on teaching me the ins and outs of Type 1 Diabetes. Having Type 1 I remember enjoying the game and actually learning a few things. I can't recall the name of that game but something geared toward the same goal would be great for helping kids learn about their disease and to have fun in the process as well.

Type 1 diabetes can occur at any age so their is a very wide age group that you could appeal to when targeting a game. The main emphasis of the game would entail staying on a good diet and maintaining a delicate balance of insulin and glucose among many other things.

Type 1 diabetes is just one of many diseases that can affect the lives of kids. I'm sure that there are many other games that could be made in order to help kids learn how to take care of themselves better and to have fun in the process as well.
