Helping Kids

I remember when I was younger playing a video game that was geared on teaching me the ins and outs of Type 1 Diabetes. Having Type 1 I remember enjoying the game and actually learning a few things. I can't recall the name of that game but something geared toward the same goal would be great for helping kids learn about their disease and to have fun in the process as well.

Type 1 diabetes can occur at any age so their is a very wide age group that you could appeal to when targeting a game. The main emphasis of the game would entail staying on a good diet and maintaining a delicate balance of insulin and glucose among many other things.

Type 1 diabetes is just one of many diseases that can affect the lives of kids. I'm sure that there are many other games that could be made in order to help kids learn how to take care of themselves better and to have fun in the process as well.
